Hen & stag do
We didn't want to have traditional hen and stag nights so we decided to have a joint hen and stag weekend with our families at a themed weekend at Butlins, Skegness. It was a 'Skool reuion' themed weekend from Friday 14th - Monday 17th March 2008.
Some of the original groups we saw performing live were 911, 2 unlimited and Booty luv. There were also some great tribute and covers bands there, such as Mercury (Queen), Heart of glass (Blondie) and Oasiz (Oasis). We were also lucky enough to see the Camden Cowboys, featuring Lee Thompson, the saxonphonist from Madness!
On the Sunday we had our seperate 'hen day' and 'stag day'. The men went to watch banger racing at Skegness Stadium, while the girls spent a relaxing few hours in the on-resort spa.
As you can see from the photos on the hen and stag pages, we all had a fantastic time!
